The Dashboard contains two widgets that you can customize to show a snapshot of information from any Financial application. Many of these widgets can be modified in varying ways. Some widgets contain a Refresh button that can be clicked to update the displayed information.
Accounts Payable by Due Date
The Accounts Payable by Due Date widget displays vendors with open invoices in a grid with columns for Vendor, Inv. #, and Amount. The number of invoices and the total amount are summarized below the grid, and a pie chart is displayed on the right.
- Select a due date from the drop-down list, or select Total to view all dates.
- Click Refresh to update the results.
Bank Balances
The Bank Balances widget displays the Beginning Balance, Deposits, Withdrawals, Checks, Voids, and Ending amounts for the currently selected bank account. A graph is shown on the right. These amounts do not come from the General Ledger.
The Beginning Balance equals the ending balance of the most recent reconciliation for the selected bank account. The Deposits, Voids, Checks, and Withdrawals amounts reflect only outstanding items. The Ending amount is calculated from the prior fields.
- Select All Bank Accounts to view a grid displaying each Bank Account and Ending Balance, along with a total ending balance.
- Click Refresh to update the results.
Note: The Bank Balances widget displays only bank accounts the user has permission to view. If a user's rights change, click Refresh on the widget to update the displayed accounts.
Budget Compared to Actual
The Budget Compared to Actual widget displays two charts: one showing Actual for Period and Budget for Period, and another for Actual YTD and Budget YTD. These amounts may be consolidated if you are using General Ledger Plus.
- Click the Select Accounts link to choose All Income Accounts or Selected Accounts.
- If you choose Selected Accounts, use the Special Reports Title to choose the special report you want, and the Line Description where the accounts you wish to display are assigned.
- Click Save to save your selections.
- Click the Export to Excel®
icon to download a .xlsx file of the currently displayed data.
- Click Refresh to update the results.
Deposit Accounts
The Deposit Accounts widget displays a list of all accounts as well as a drop-down list of account types. The grid displays the Name, Inception Date, Account#, and Ending Balance for each listed account. Below the grid, the # Accounts and total ending balance are displayed. A pie graph on the right displays the total ending balance for all account types, broken down by account type.
- Select an account type from the drop-down list to display only accounts related to that type.
- Hover over the pie graph to view the ending balance for each account type.
Fixed Asset Values
The Fixed Asset Values widget consists of three drop-down lists, a grid, and a pie graph.
- Select how you want to view information from the first drop-down list (e.g., Room, Asset Account).
- Select a subset from the second drop-down list to filter what displays in the grid based on the first selection.
- Select what information to display in the pie graph from the third drop-down list. The pie graph breaks down the data by the selection in the first drop-down and ignores the second drop-down entirely.
For example, selecting Room in the first drop-down and Cost in the third drop-down causes the pie graph to display cost broken down by room.
Insurance Billing Plans
The Insurance Billing Plans widget displays insurance plan names and the number of employees enrolled in both a grid and a graph. Select a specific insurance type from the drop-down list, or select All Types to view all insurance types.
Loans With Balance Due
The Loans With Balance Due widget displays the Account #, Name, Last Payment, and Amount Due in a grid and graph. Select a specific loan type from the drop-down list, or select All Types to view all loan types.

The Main Content Tasks widget contains links to commonly used tasks within the current application.

See the Tips for using the Financials article for more information on how to use the My Status widget.

Receivable Invoices Outstanding
The Receivable Invoices Outstanding widget displays the Invoice Aging for the selected Revenue Centers and/or Sources. The following totals are displayed: Current, 31-60, 61-90, 91-120, and 121 & over.
