View Source Documentation

View Source Documents allows you to view source documents in PDF format that were created automatically when entries were sent from other applications to the General Ledger. This gives you a paperless trail in addition to your hard copies.

 

Filters

  1. Choose the appropriate Source Documents Filters.
    • Journal Types: select which (or all) journal types to view.
    • Journal Number: selecting any option other than Show All displays fields so you can input the numbers.

  1. Complete the following filters as needed.
    • Date: select the time frame from which to view source documents. Additional date filters may appear depending on the option you choose.

  1. Complete the following filters as needed.
    • Period: select the periods from which to view source documents.
    • User: select all users or specific users from which to view source documents.
  2. Click Search to display source documents based on your selected filters, or click Clear Filters to reset all filters.

 

Source Documents Grid

The grid includes the following columns for each source document:

  1. Click the View Details icon in any row to view the source document PDF.
  2. To export source documents, select the documents you want and click Export Source Documents. This prompts you to download a zip file containing all selected source-document PDFs.
